Our History
East West College of Nursing, Bengaluru, Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and Board of Examining Authority, Recognized by Government of Karnataka. Outstanding and exceptional since its inception East West Group of Institutions laid foundation to its first professional course as Nursing in the year 1992 with a diploma programme. It was raised to the level of Bachelorette in the year 1998, Post Graduation in 2004 and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in 2011. The department of Nursing aims at turning out intellectually enlightened, emotionally balanced, morally upright, spiritually inspired and socially committed nurses into the society to serve the mankind.

General Nursing & Midwifery (Diploma)
General Nursing and Midwifery or GNM is a three-year diploma programme designed for aspirants who want to pursue a career in clinical nursing. The programme teaches candidates how to care for individuals who are sick or have been injured in order to help them attain full recovery.
Basic B.Sc Nursing
The main purpose of the undergraduate degree in Nursing, is to provide an educational programme, through which graduates will be prepared to assume the responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of people, as professional nurses. The Programme is geared to the health needs of the country, community individual.
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) is a two-year duration undergraduate course in nursing. Nurses are healthcare professionals who often work in hospitals or outpatient facilities to provide hands-on care to patients by monitoring their medical condition, administering medications, maintaining records and communicating with doctors.
M.Sc. Nursing
M.Sc. Nursing is a two year program which specializes in many branches; such as Medical Surgical Nsg, Community Health Nsg, Mental Health Nsg, Paediatric Nsg, OBG Nsg etc.
